Arguing is oppositional. Arguing is about one person being right and the other wrong. It is about justifying our point of view and making a point.

When children see their parents arguing it will create at least 3 negative emotion like fear, insecurity and respect.

“Linda, Linda, Listen to me!”… “But Linda, Honey, look at this” Wow … Really, that is the innocence. I am sure one day he will become a good arguer on world platform.

Many of us argue yet we don’t know what we are talking about. But how to argue effectively and get your point across? Just watch the clip above and you can get your most beloved answer.

Forgiveness – Just Think!

The Power of Forgiveness

The Power of Forgiveness

How do you forgive someone? Most of the things I’ve read about forgiveness involves the other person. I believe that forgiveness doesn’t have anything to do with the person you are wanting to forgive.

Knowing how to humbly own our mistakes and faults is one of the biggest keys to creating and maintaining successful relationships. So don’t just say “Sorry” but mean it. Thinking and acting that you should have done in part one? That comes in handy here. If you took the time to correct the mistake you made, tell the person about how you corrected it. It shows a willingness to admit you are wrong, as well as sincere desire to atone for a mistake.

Asking for forgiveness may seem an awfully difficult thing to do. You need to first conquer your pride and let go off your ego, if you genuinely want to aplogise to someone. Apologies have to be hear-felt or they lose their meaning. One needs to bear in mind that regret is expressed without expecting forgiveness in return. However, with a genuine apology, there is always a chance that you might be forgiven.

Asking for forgiveness from others:

Knowing why you want to ask for forgiveness is more important thatn just doing it, say for the sake of mending broken relationships. Think about the incident and try to figure out the reason behind your apology. It is very necessary to make your apology sound genuine. If you are aplogising without realising your mistake, it will make the regret look insincere.

Write down your apology:

Writing down your apology will make you feel better and organise you thoughts as well. It will be good if you also mention the mistake that you committed, instead of just penning your apology. It will especially help, if you are feeling nervous about saying sorry. You can even send the written apology if you don’t dare to face the person. However, meeting in person to convey something as personal as an apology is always a better and a more feasible idea.

Do practice to feel comfortable:

Though it might sound a little far-fetched, it is a great idea to practive your apology, in order to get comfortable with the whole idea. Practicing will prevent you from going wrong while apologising. Sorry is not a very natural thing to say for many of us and therefore, needs specail practice, if you don’t want to falter and spoil the effort.

Avoid blame game:

While asking for forgiveness, it is important to realise that fixing or passing the blame can ruin the whole endeavour and get you back to the point from where you started. Avoid an exaggeration of the emotions behind apology if you want to come across as sincere. A lot of people overstate their feelings and look absolutely out of control while apologising.

Don’t give excuses:

If you have an excuse ready for your hebaviour for which you are now regretful, then perhaps, you are not feeling sorry at all. Excuses are offered when you believe that you never committed the mistake and this contradicts the whole feeling of repentance. The person form whom you are asking for forgiveness may think that you don’t repent what you did and thus, are making excuses for your actions.

POSTED BY on Feb 21 under Finance

I know that you have good credit, good intentions and you are eligible for a loan. But what do you do next?

The very next steps are not to be taking lightly because finances are powerful responsibilities we have in our lives. There are a number of ways to pursue a loan once you have set your mine on acquiring one.

Finading a Loan: Online sites work wonders for individuals intersted in applying for loans. The convenience and comfort online websites provide is quite advances. In a hand on manner you may have access to sutomize how much you would like to receive, and how long you will need to pay it back and an online loan provider will generate the extra details you need to know in the blink of an eye.

Online loans are best for people who are on the go, need money now, are tech savvy and dislike the sometimes disempowering meetings that occur in face to face interactions with specialist.

Choosing a loan

Choosing a loan

Choosing a loan: Choosing a loan is not as simple as it seems, it’s not a 2 question combination: how much is the loan? When do I have to pay it back? No, it’s more of a combination safe that needs multiple questions answered. It is important to ask questions, to take notes, to consider options and to anticipate drawbacks. Some of the questions you want to ask include:

The interest fees? You need to inquire about interest fees because they will vary with different types of loans. For example: an unsecured loan such as a payday loan is a type of cash advance loan for a short period but with a very high rate of interest. Circumstantially, every loan works for an individual’s purposes and this is a very popular type of loan that can be acquired at most check cashing places in many areas.

What are the late fees? In the event of a drawback: losing a job, an assest, etc., forcing you to pay off a loan late, you will want to know what the extra costs would be. Many times people neglect inquiring about late fees because the are only worried about paying the loan off on time, however, remember to consider that we don’t know what the future may bring and discuss these different conditions.

What are the rewards? Some loan providers will have rewards or reward points for a good relationship that may include cash back, which is an option with MasterCard and other credit card providers. There are also reward programs available for good credit, so good behavior deems great reawards if you seek them.

Friends with Familiar Faces : Like or Dislike-Just Think

POSTED BY on Feb 13 under Reaserch

According to a study, we are more likely to approach strangers with whom we share a physical resemblance. As it gives us a sense of familiarity.

Reaserchers from Wilfried Laurier University in Ontario, Canada, made the discovery after asking 356 students, who did not already know each other, to attend a series of lectures in small rooms, forcing them to sit next to someone.

Friends Forever

Friends Forever

The results of the study showed that students who wore glasses were more likely to sit together as were those who had similar length or colour hair, the same colour eyes, or simolar body proportions. In a second test, a female student carried out three-minute interviews with 72 female students. Those who had the same colour eyes as the interviewer, sat closer to her, as did those with similar hair colour and length and a similar body shape. Finally, researchers presented the students with eight pictures of people who differed in terms of sex, race, hair and whether they wore glasses.

After asking whom they would rather sit next to, the participants once again gravitated towards people who most resembled theselves. According to consultant psychologist Ingrid Collins, if we look in the mirror we see a familiar image, so someone who looks like us can remind us of our own self or our family. This makes us feel that we know those people a lot better than we actually do, giving us a sense of familiarity.

Marketing Boost Tools

POSTED BY on Feb 9 under Business Gossip

Marketing Tool

Marketing optimisation tools allow small businesses to measure the impact of their marketing campaigns in terms or return on investiment (ROI)

Marketing optimiztion tools fall into four distinct categories: program metrics, mix models optimization, targeting optimization and marketing simulation. Each utilizes different methods to measure marketing impact, with varied results. The marketing optimization tool you need for your small business depends largely on the industry you operate in and the size of your campaign.

Program metrics:

Program metric tools measure the impact of individual programs within a larger marketing campaign, such as quantifying the customer response rate to a direct mail marketing campaign. The downside of program metric tools is that they measure one program in isolation. They cannot tell marketers how other programs within the marketing campaign, such as television advertisements, are interacting with the direct mail; thus, they offer no perspective as to how the campaign is functioning as a whole. However, for small businesses operating only one or two marketing programs, program metric tools work fine.

Enhance Marketing

Mix models optimisation:

Mix models optimisation tools are statistical analyses that allow small nusinesses to quantify the relationship between sales and various promotional strategies such as pricing. This tool uses historical data to formulate a type of statistical modelling called regression analysis that links the choices made in a marketing program with their outcomes. Mix models optimization tools have a limited application in that they do not reveal patterns between marketing choices and consumer behaviour. Therefore, they are not helpful for small businesses looking to gauge the impact that a change in their marketing approach might make on their sales.

Targeting optimisation:

Targeting optimisation is a form of customer relationship management, or CRM. Also known as one-to-one marketing, this tool focuses on collecting information about interactions between customers and sales staff in a number of different circumstances and locations, so-called customer touch points, measuring the customer experience, and customising communications based on the results. This tool works well with large, multifaceted marketing campaigns.

Marketing simulation:

This tool creates simulations fo the marketing campaign and measures consumer responses to each marketing activity in the process. Marketing simulation tools are beneficial for new industries that may lack a large enough body of historical data on which to base measurement parameters.

These tools can also be advantageous on a large scale for small businesses from a strategic point of view, since they provide detailed information about why things did not work in past campaigns and platforms.

Rupee To Rupiya : A Journey of 16 Annas

POSTED BY on Feb 7 under Finance

Rupee – 16 Annas

The first “rupee” is believed to have been introduced by Sher Shah Suri (1486-1545), based on a ration of 40 copper pieces (paisa) per rupee.

The word rupiya is derived from word rupa, which means “wrought silver, a coin of silver”, in origin an adjective meaning “shapely”, with a more specific meaning of “stamped, impressed,” whence “coin”.

It is derived from the noun rupa “shape, likeness, image”. Arthashastra, written by Chanakya, prime minister to the first Maurya emperor Chandragupta Maurya (c. 340-290 BCE), mentions silver coins asrupyarupa, other types of coins including gold coins (Suvarnarupa) and lead coins (Sisarupa) are also mentioned. Rupa means form or shape, example, Rupyarupa, Rupya – wrought silver, rupa – form.

During his five year rule from 1540 to 1546, he set up a new civic and military administration; Sher Shah Suri issued a coin of silver, weighing 178grains, which was termed the Rupiya.

During the British rule in India, and the first decade of independence, the rupee was subdivided into 16 annas. Each anna was subdivided into either 4 paisas, or 12 pies. So One rupee was equal to 16 Annas, 64 Paises of 192 Pies.
